LinkShare Debuts New Advertiser Dashboard Providing New Levels of Transparency,
YOY Trending, and Overall Enhanced Performance
NEW YORK CITY –As part of a strategic effort to enable retailers to improve the effectiveness of their performance marketing programs, LinkShare today announced the release of its completely new advertiser dashboard. Using the new LinkShare dashboard, advertisers can more easily
develop, execute and track the results of their online performance marketing programs and campaigns resulting in higher revenue and more targeted online site traffic.
Based on direct feedback from advertisers and agencies, the new LinkShare advertiser dashboard features hundreds of usability enhancements and new features. New capabilities include in-depth year-over-year (YOY) performance tracking including the ability to view a range of trending insights and transparency into campaign level performance by individual publishers. Advertisers are also provided with new tools to facilitate more effective communications with their online marketing partners.
“LinkShare has listened and delivered an incredibly useful platform. It’s new, sleek design allows for smooth navigation, streamlined reporting, and effective publisher management tools – these are very important enhancements that will help us grow and manage our program,” said Kristen Fox, manager, new business development, Gaiam.
LinkShare’s new reporting features allow advertisers to see how their programs and campaigns are performing at a strategic program level and they can also easily drill down to see more granular details by individual publisher.
“LinkShare’s exciting enhancements to the advertiser interface provide the necessary tools, data and functionality to effectively manage, optimize and analyze their merchants’ affiliate programs. As we enter into the busy Q4 selling season, functionality like year-over-year performance statistics and standardization for creating private offers will give my retailers a much needed
advantage in reaching their seasonal goals,” said Bobbie Bryson, an outsourced program manager who manages four advertising programs in the LinkShare network.
For example, using the new trend charts, advertisers get a visual representation of program progress, comparing performance on a daily or yearly basis including average order value, commissions, impressions, clicks, sales, and other key performance indicators. Users can also download performance data in a variety of ways. With faster access to information, retailers can make more informed decisions on how to adjust their campaigns. With improved reporting tools,
advertisers can more quickly and easily interpret and share the data with decision makers.
Finding publishers is also easier as the new filters allow users to search for publishers in a variety of new ways including email opt-in/out, data feed availability and prior acceptance of private offers, for example.
With its improved transparency and easy navigation tools, the new dashboard enables advertisers to have a comprehensive profile on each publisher including the ability to create a comment history to document meetings and other information. Additionally, the dashboard now includes the ability to distribute pre-coded advertising links so that publishers can easily insert offers without having to write code.
“This new release of the LinkShare advertiser dashboard illustrates our commitment to leading the performance marketing industry,” said Yaz Iida, CEO, LinkShare. “Our continued investments in resources and technology, including the new Oracle Exadata database, is providing advertisers and publishers with the increased performance, usability, and innovation that will help drive strong revenue growth today and in the future.”
The LinkShare advertiser dashboard is currently in beta and can be used today to manage daily activities, access reports, and manage programs. Additional functionality will be included over the next few months based on customer feedback.
