As such, it should come as no surprise really that ShopAtHome.com, one of the web’s largest free coupons and cash rewards sites, came out today reporting that the company enjoyed record growth in 2010, indicative of how diversified e-commerce options are getting and how more shoppers are utilizing those options.
ShopAtHome, which is profitable, says that it achieved year-over-year growth of more than 109 percent in 2010. After logging more than 26.2 million visits in 2009, traffic more than doubled to 54 million in 2010.
“ShopAtHome.com has become the most-visited coupons and cash back site on the web because we offer ways to save money on almost everything,” said Marc Braunstein, co-founder and CEO of ShopAtHome.com.
“If you shop for groceries, if you travel, if you buy clothes and gifts, if you eat out, ShopAtHome.com has coupons and cash back offers that help you save a significant amount of money,” he continues. “We are passionate about helping people save and we’re extremely proud to grown tremendously throughout the year in 2010.”
ShopAtHome was originally started as the Catalog of Catalogs in 1986 by Braunstein and his wife Claudia. It has since evolved into a self-proclaimed “coupon powerhouse,” with more than 100,000 local and web coupons from 50,000 retailers, including big-box and brand names.
The company’s business is built around several different offerings, including searchable free coupon codes for retailers such as Target and Best Buy, the web’s largest selection of grocery coupons and restaurant coupons as well. ShopAtHome also offers a free cash-back shopping program that consumers can take advantage of at select retailers, and a service that compiles free samples for shoppers too.
